A Snoek is a fighting fish, much like a Salmon and roughly the same size. Very bony, often smoked and considered to be a great delicacy. The Cape fishermen go out on a daily basis and catch them on lines in the season.
All fish taste the same to me, due to a childhood happening I can't abide the feel of a bone in my mouth, it triggers an immediate upchuck which is very embarrassing if you're a guest!

Do it now, you may never get another chance

Eric, yes I was aware that the front forks are sprung and damped, aren't all bikes these days?
What I was trying to indicate was that, as with motor cars, a bit of Castor in the wheel support improves the self steering capability. Very often the wheel axle is hung a bit ahead of the steering head centre line.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

It does appear that BB's bike does not have any rear suspension.

One disappointing fact of getting old is your sense of balance weakens or perhaps it just slows down but the effect is the same. I know mine has!
I suspect a teenager makes those minor steering corrections completely intuitively.
I certainly found my first ride on an electric scooter "interesting" in that it required positive steering inputs just to keep straight.
I certainly don't remember such issues when riding my 150cc Vespa!

@Klippy  no, unsprung bikes are still readily available at the lower end of the price range. But on UK's potholes separated by ridges roads, they give a rather bone-shaking ride!

So a snoek is a fish, I was thinking along the lines of discarded rubbish!
-
Ha! just seen that I put lines, when I was previously talking of seals tangled in lines!

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!
