I know the problem, I think - or I thought I did - - - What was I thinking about? er - - - - !

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Here's a little gem of useless info I've stumbled upon - Government website.

Free Passport
If you were born on or before September 2, 1929, and are a British citizen, you may be eligible for a free passport. More information and application details can be found on here.

That means if you are 96 or older, you qualify! I wonder how many people of that age are thinking of going on a foreign holiday?

A hat is a good idea, nothing wrong with that one, it's called a floppy! Johannesburgers are called Floppy Koppie's (koppie is a head or a hill) in Durban on account of the hats. They're also called "kike daar's" (which means Look there). Bring the hat!

Would not a light spray of water and gently massage it to the shape you want then let air dry?

With it having a wire brim, shape it as you wish after you get there. Not much you can do about the crown part tho'
I have used similar for many years, but shaped the crown and gave it multi coats of clear water base Varnish, not much use to your need to pack it.
I also fitted a chin cord with a little toggle adjustment thing, to reduce the need to run after it   Got well known did my Paper Straw hats as I made them last a long time.

Have a nice Day, unless I don't like you.

Having looked at several pictures of copies of the colour scheme that the original 1936 one that flew in the Hitler 1936 Olympic games which is the one i did it seems that it should have a silver front end and not the colour i did   so iv done it silver this time, must say i prefer my colour, but having spent £70 on spray cans from Halfords trying to match the repairs to whats already on it iv given up, Klippy can always recover it and paint it in his own prefered colours

Got to do the rest of the fuselage now and touch up the wing and tail / fin

Now, I have a 'Forward to me' address, I wonder if the others could be boxed up together and sent there, and let them send it on to me, obviously I would pay all costs.
