Willowlea
I thought the Scheibe Falke Sf 25c was a motor glider with big wings.

But then who am I to comment? I still don't know what it is!

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

It is lol, but it was the nearest comparison I could see with the raised bubble canapy- apart from the undercarriage which seems to differ to the pic above, but they did do one wheel, 2-leged with wheel pans covering the tires and tricycle variations. All the pics I have seen seem to have the wheel pans- must have been a female pilot who knocked the pans off on the above (pesky curbs keep nicking my tire trims :woohoo: )

CAB GY-20 Minicab to be exact!
Yves Gardan was the designer for SIPA and the Minicab was a smaller lower powered version of the SIPA 90 he had already designed for them.
He set up his own business Constructions Aéronautiques du Béarn (CAB) and built 20 Minicabs.
He later returned to SIPA and designed the SIPA 200 Minijet

cheers jetjock, am useless at remembering the numbers- knew it was ww2 designed for taking piccies over Japan (I think it was japan lol) and the hughes variation was an xf 11. Neither were ever used were they- just protypes?

It did not fly until 1946 and was redesignated XR-12, i think only two were built one of which crashed. It was binned in favour of a modified B50 which was basically a suped up B29.
