Well as i cant get fun right i will go back to my build blogs. :P
Ailerons are covered and nearly ready for paint.
fuselage is now all sealed.
so next job is to make up the mounting points for the false floor under the wings and take a look at making some spacers for the axles.

ailerons are now ready for paint. :woohoo:
so tomorrow i will be painting and sealing them, then once the hinges turn up they can be fitted.
that will just leave the retracts to fit and sort out.
a final fitting together and a couple of pictures and its done, well my part is anyway.
lets just hope its good enough for Tufty (Garry) :P

had a so so day today.
got the ailerons under paint now.

made the removable bomb bay and sorted out the fittings.

this is the last bit that goes on after the wings and nose have been fitted.

spacers have been made for the main wheels and the u/c fitted for the last time.
i need to fit the air bottle in the fuselage and work out the pipe runs and fit the ailerons next.

Can you give me ample warning of the day please Garry & I'll try my best to get the cameras there.
Unfortunately guys, the Swinderby club is a closed shop because of membership limitations. I was fortunate enough to find a place because Garry gave me the heads up when a slot became available.
This is something that seems to happen a lot around the country, for many reasons... some can be as simple as farmers renting out a field, but restricting the number of flyers.... maybe even local councils have their own restrictions?
Sorry for drifting off topic.... if you guys are having a party, then I want an invite & I'll do the coverage & we'll share the fun with everyone else.. :)

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.
Thanks: Garry Pollard, Sarah-Jane Smith

Not had the best of days today.
still the ailerons are fitted, just need to fit the horns and connect them up.

Now onto the difficult part.
the air retracts. :)
I have fitted the air tank in the fuselage.

Tried sorting the servo and actuator.
will this work ok, it needs tidying up of course.

If it is ok, it will go in here, with room on the tray for the rx to be positioned.

I will need to get 4 bayonet fittings for the air lines yet though.

Ailerons now work. :cheer:
Air actuator works as well, had to change the servo to a stronger one.
Air pipes are fitted, just need the bayonet connectors for the wing lines and i think we are done. [badass]
will need to have a final fit together to check nothing has altered during the cover and paint stage.
test the u/c eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
and take some pictures.
then it can go upstairs out of the workshop and i can get on with something else.

then you slide one wing in.

then the other wing and blot them home using the 4 steel bolts.

bolt the belly on with the wing bolts and the same with the tail.

struggle to turn over and there you are.
