I notice you've angled the control horn slightly to align with the servo arm, ;) .... That's a sign of a man who knows what he's doing.
I've seen many a model with the clevis hitting the horn at an angle & it infuriates me. :woohoo:

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.
Thanks: Ex-Member

right thee wheels turned up.
hmmmmmmmmmmm a bit big, but we pressed on after my hospital visit :(

cut the rib right back for clearance and it fits. :cheer:

had to file a flat on the leg to stop it binding on the retract.

then we started lining the wheel well.

next job is to design and make the leg cover.

not sure if i should do the inner door or not.

on the original the door slides down the leg as uc lowers and is hinged to the wing.
the inner door covers the whole of the wheel.
but we have decided not to go that scale on this one.

mrs has gone away for the weekend. [badass]
so i opened the tin of sanding sealer and gave the whole wing a coat.
when dry i will lightly sand the wing and start covering.
hope to be putting paint on next week.

Nice job as usual Tony - wish I could build at your speed - then again - I don' think any one else can either. Isn't it wonderful when there is no SHMBO to screw up a good days building.

underside of the wing is covered and drying.
need to cover the top of the wing next.
then 2 more coats of sealer, light sand and tidy up.
then Paint. :P
i think white and black invasion stripes on the wings will be done.

need to think about finding the money for some motors and esc's for this and the pattern ship.
