Well today i started trying to make the under carriage.
frustrating or what.
i am not a skilled or even an unskilled metal worker.
taken 4 hours to get half way with one set.
i need some braces between the legs yet, but it works. phew.




i will get them finished over the weekend i hope and then i can finish the undersides of the nacelles.

nearly there.

took two hours to make the second leg phew.
been very stressful.





now i need to get them all working and finish the nacelles off.
then i can carve the nose block and connect all the controls up.
soon be finished.

Looking very good Tony a nice unusual design
Get some of Mick Reeves silver solder a small blowlamp, you already have one I suspect
His solder has a lowish melting point, you will find it will transform metal work for you in many ways as it did for me on the Bucker
I wonder how I ever managed without it now,

going to take a break from the u/c now as it has been very stressful to build.

Well i have decided to get the ensign finished this weekend.

just need to sort the u/c legs and we are ready.

Will get back to some 3D printing next week, i got parts to make for the next project.

Filled the hole in the top of the fuselage today.
just needs covering and paint.
still wondering about some braces on the u/c legs.
