I'm so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I'm saying.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

6mm Depron core with a balsa spar and 3mm Depron skins.
it will go on about here once i have the fin constructed.
then i made a ladder and fitted it.
fin and rudder plan has been printed off and i hope to build it tomorrow.

Usual method of the 6mm Depron core with 6x3mm balsa spars and 6mm balsa hinge posts.
then skinned with 3mm Depron. sorted.
the spars extend beyond the fin so that they go through the tailplane and into the fuselage.
they then slide either side of the fuselage cores to hopefully make a strong joint, but time will tell.
so i plonked every thing in place and to me it looks just about great.
I will not be gluing this lot on till after the model has been completely finished and covered.
so the next job is to start the main wing centre section.

If i feel better tomorrow and get the time i will design and build the rear spars and take a look at the wing joining tubes.
the centre section will have all the motors and retracts in, so i need to plan it all out slowly.
i would not want to miss anything once the wing has been sheeted.

Then i glued them in place.
After that i designed and cut out the trailing edge ribs, then glued them in place.
Finally i cut out and glued trailing edge sheet home.
As i need the wing joining tubes before i can go any further with the centre section, tomorrow i will make a start on the spars for the outer sections.
i might even get the ailerons made.
i will need to cut the wing opening a bit more to shape when i have the wing finished.
