My point is, do they actually want to sell kits or are they so busy they haven't the time to deal with me?
I have to say that after paying money to the previous Company, which went bankrupt some time later without having provided the goods paid for, I'm reluctant to have anything to do with Sarik. Luckily, I paid by credit card and my card provider has refunded my account.
I will be building a Fury in Septic's group build, due to start in October, but I'll be cutting my own wood.

I'm really looking forward to this build which will be a natural follow on from the Tiger Moth, which by the way was 78.47Gbp with 47.32Gbp shipping and took a month to get here, 'to be signed for'

That depends. Did you want black squares on a white background, or white squares on a black background?

Yes John. The biggest problem for me is I'm 4hrs away from any Model shop and an 45min away from the nearest town (which doesn't have a model shop)one tenor wrote: Are there no model shops in SA klip?
When you factor traffic and the fact that I might have to go to the 3 or 4 that might have what I want I also have to stay overnight, makes the cost not worthwhile. I don't know of any that really cater to the scratch builder. And I don't need another unfinished airframe!
Bottom line, I need a kit that will fly with what's in it, scale mods and perfections can come later.
I thought it might be nice to have a small Airfix type 1:42 or so to pick up scale features. I could buy one in Canada for $5, I inquired about postage, $130, even the seller was surprised. One of the attractions about Banggood is price, quality and zero postage most of the time.

The Airfix 1:48 Fury gets a bit of a slating in this Amazon review. So you might be a bit disappointed if you had gone to a lot of trouble and expense to get one. Airfix Hawker Fury - Amazon Review
How about scaling up one of the Furies on Outerzone, or drawing in your own structure on a downloaded three view?
My own Fury experience is limited to the Matchbox 1:72 plastic kit and the Veron flying scale rubber one. The Veron Fury had a strange desire to fly in nicely banked left hand circles, only it was banked out of the turn, not into it.

That one re the Veron Fury is odd. I'd love to have seen that. It must have had some really weird warps on it!!!! :woohoo:

Sorry John, I tried to edit out the bits which weren't relevant and its joined your comment with the reply. I'm still on 'L' plates with the idiosyncracies of the Aeromodeller's Forum, so please bear with me!
Regarding the Veron Fury, it flew fine, albeit a bit fast, before I added the top wing. The wing struts did all sorts of strange things to the rigging when I attached them. It was my first biplane, and a bit of a learning curve. I later converted it to electric round the pole, which it did rather well until the motor burnt out.
