G'day fellas - had to put my oar in here in defence of all good clean living NITRO flyers/builders and other assorted geniuses. Leccy is a mate of mine and a bloody nice bloke - he's all of 84 years of age and that alone deserves congratulations. As he noted he's still learning and dabbles mainly with ARF and electric - I hope to convert him to the tender art of building and proper motive power one of these days. I'm still teaching him to get his head around posting on forums and asking and answering questions - so give the bloke a break - be kind to him - he really is a top fella.

Sparks??? It must be those bloody electric fellas then. When one uses proper NITRO power the only thing that flies is the model. With of course the good clean smell of burning nitro fuel. Ha, ha, (evil laugh) ha!!

Hi Johnboy, and welcome to the friendly forum.

You say you want a hobby, think about this one very carefully as it becomes a way of life, not a hobby, ask me how I know:) :)

I am the one who lives near Grantham, about 7 miles on the Nottingham side A 52. That should pin point it. Just come back from a flying session.
