Fox motor in (and tailplane fitted, although you can't see that!) The black blob is just a felt pen mark to identify where the wires are on the motor.

and just to annoy Grumps, a new toy arrived in the post today.

1450 KV @ 15v = 1420 grammes thrust @690 Watts on a 12x6 or 10x7 according to the blurb - there's a radial mount, and a prop adapter in the box as well - from that new shop I posted a couple of days ago. Ordered late Saturday, arrived today.

The Fox build has temporarily been suspended until I can get out and obtain some more ply from which I can make a battery tray that fits!
In the meantime, I've begun a new build. It's not a ceiling tile, an Airfix kit, or an ARTC, it's a real wood model, that might have you guessing. (Garry and Tony please keep quiet, as you already know). Next is the diagonal bracing, and sheeting, then the top and bottom.

Nowhere near as fast as you, though, Tony! My excuse is I'm using pva, and have to wait for the glue to dry!

Yep Eric - that's my excuse too. The model looks vaguely like something from the Keil Kraft range???? Good to see someone else building who doesn't "plod" along. :P

Sorry, no, you are way off! I have to admit that I'm not exactly copying the plan, so it's going to end up more of a Cessna 172 kind of shape.

Keil Kraft mini super plan is the basis of it.
There's a plan on ebay for £6 (last time I looked) if someone wants to look for it.
