Am very lucky to be bombard with so much in this little time.
The topic is (Materials, structures and processes for use in model aircraft) The gallery was the first place i went to. As for how i got here is just Google some things are just there we do not know what took us there. I will be very grateful to even see a live construction of one and even see it fly i think it will broad my knowledge. You people will pardon me if i begin to ask questions that look like foundation student question i took this project to challenge myself as this kind are not familiar from the part of the world i came to UK from. Assignments , lectures and co are not making give 100% to this forum but all the same am truly grateful.

Hello eric so if you want to improve a design apart from the weight and strength what other things will you consider although i know weigth / strength ratio is very important in aircraft.

This is a wing built up in Balsa, other materials can be used, such as Depron.

Klippy got there first - torsional stiffness = the resistance of the structure to twisting and bending.

an example. Four sticks of equal length. join all the tips together to make a long stick, join the two ends together.
You have a square - but, one side can slide up and down relative to the other.
Take one stick out, and join the tips, so you have a triangle. That will not move.
