That's true of course but there were minimum standards to adhere to weren't there.

Well i have decided to fit the tail section semi permanently, as lining it up and connecting all the servos each time will be a right pain.

so i connected everything up and lightly glued the section on, i kept the wing bolt fitting as well.
that way i only need to slice down the join with a knife and then unscrew the bolts to remove if needs be.

servo reversers turned up this morning.
so i can now get the rudder and elevators working properly. :)

i am using twin rx's so i have redundancy' i just need to work out how to wire everything all up for safety.

we ploddy onny.

Just to add a bit of history
LS-P (serial number LL754) was lost, with all her crew, in the early hours of 21 April 1944 near Cologne.
The 8 crew members are buried at the Reinberg War Cemetery.
8 crew suggests LS-P carried the extra man to operate H2S radar,

It is sad to find out that she was lost with all aboard, may they rest in peace.

but it does give me the reg number and confirms that she was fitted with the HS-2 radar.
