Nearly got the underside sheeting finished.
waiting for the bullet connectors to turn up and i can finish the wiring and then finish the sheeting.
be able to cover and paint it next week, then its just connecting everything up and making a launching dolly.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

finished sheeting the underside of the fuselage at last.
put a thick bit of depron on the underside to act as a skid for belly landing.

can start covering that bit tomorrow, then paint and final fit out. job done. phew.

Looking good Tony. watching this with interest but a little concerned about the size of that motor. Any idea how much weight are you saving using depron?

balsa ones of 40inch wingspan turn out at 11+ lbs.
this one at 60inch wingspan is weighing in at 8lb so far.
yes the motor might be a bit small, but it was all i had at the time, i will get a 42/48 that gives 1300watts when i can afford it.
i will then get another 35/48 to make up the pair needed for the trent meteor.
