I don't lend my face to anybody, never mind Smi Ling! :P Who is he/she, anyway? :woohoo:

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Here's a 'weight reduction' suggestion Tony - have you considered making it dolly launched? That way you could dispense with the retracts for the first few flights and the model would be cheaper as well as lighter.

Jaqui says: "Oooooooo what a whopper!!" by the way! ;-)

dolly launch might be an idea or even a bungee ramp.

anyway.
today i have done a little bit more sheeting to hold the arse end straigh so i could glue the tailplanes on.
ok i need to run some glue along the edges yet, but the ali spars are glued in place and they are level and square.

need the servo's and esc next before i can do much more, so i think i will play with the avionic bays a bit.

not much to report as the shed base has taken priority for the last two days.
i did get a couple of bits of depron glued on this morning as it was raining, but that's all.

right i had some time to myself today so i got a little bit more done.

made up the ailerons and hinged them to the wing.
the original only had flaps on the main wing as it used tailerons where the whole tailplane could be moved either as elevators and as ailerons at the same time, overly complicated for me i thought. :P

did a little bit more sheeting where i can, need the servo's before i can do any more.
fitted the rudder torque rod as well.

want to look at the u/c mounts tomorrow if i get the time.

no pictures today.
i have sorted the fuselage round the wing mount a bit more and started the wing to rear fuselage fairing.
that's about it.

ordered all the bits needed to wire it up, so as soon as they turn up i can crack on and finish it off.
