If it is a 70s plan, the first c og g is the stating point, and the second one is the furthest back you should go.
Looks evil Tony, well done

got the rudder servo in and the rudder working at last, fiddly job but we dd it.
got the wing plate in as well.
elevator servo's in and working, just need to connect them up next. (waiting for some bits to turn up)
had an issue with one elevator getting stuck to the fuselage by the sealer, little bit of work with the scalpel and it was soon freed.
got the first coat of white on the wing and the second coat of red done as well.
slowly heading towards the finish line.

second coat of blue is on the wing and drying.
if i get a chance i can tackle the ailerons tomorrow, then seal the wing and drill the wing mount.
then i think it is just a case of motor/esc and tidying up.
job done.
back to the mustang next.

wing plate was to high up in the fuselage and the bolts would not reach.
had to make a whole new plate and faf about to gt the wing to bolt on ok.
well it's on now, needs a little bit of work now to fill the gaps.
not a good morning.
nearly threw it in the bin with frustration.

made up the mounting blocks for the nose and screwed that on.
then because my bits i ordered yesterday had turned up, i got on with getting the elevators to work.
then i found some wheels.
so i got the ailerons left to do, seal the wing and fit the motor and esc.
then it is done and i can have a go at something else.
at the moment it weighs 3lb 10 oz and needs 1lb 3oz to get the c of g right. motor, battery and esc should see to most of that.

the motor on hk's site gives 700watts on a 3s and 875 on a 4s
motor weighs 117gm
esc 77gm
4s lipo 360 to 600gm depending on mah.
so 117 +77+ 400=694gm or 1.5lb
so it wont be far out once you have slid the battery back a bit.
spose i need to order then motor, esc combo now.
not sure on prop size yet.
maybe 11x5
