After my shopping trip this morning and after some lunch, i headed back out into the cold and damp to continue with the build.
Made the ailerons and glued them on.
another nice fiddly job getting them on, but the rods are epoxy'd in and the hinges need gluing once that has set, i will pin these as well.
then i can cover, paint and seal them and thee whole wing.
battery hatch is now sorted.
just got to do the motor and aileron servo, then jobs done.

hinges are pinned, aileron servo is in and all working.
so we painted the ailerons and left them to dry.
just need to seal the wing and then sort out the motor set up.

put a coat of sealer on the top of the wing, needs 2 more on top and 3 underneath still.
needs 1 last coat of sealer on the fuselage.
once i have got the motor/esc i can do the final finishing off.
but basically it is finished.
ok a couple days over my end of jan deadline, but just over 3 weeks from start to finish aint bad.
i lost a week to the bathroom and a few days to a super scorpion fuselage.

second coat of sealer is on the wing now.

i use that dreadful stuff called polyc.
it has had 3 coats then paint, followed by another 3 coats to seal it.
