one of my 6s lipo's has gone down to 5s - I'm guessing - but either the balancing wire from one cell has broken, so it isn't visible to the charger, or you have managed to over-discharge one cell, so it has gone to meet it's maker.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

If the total voltage is right, then as Eric suggests, it's a bad wire on the balance plug.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

The Lander fans would not work today the esc's kept telling me that the voltage was to high
refused to work, each lipo is fully charged each one show's it is 2 volts over what it should be :ie the 6s is 24v instead of 22.4 and the 4s are 16v instead of 14.8v

That is the correct reading when fully charged BB
4.2 v per cell

I wonder if the ESC is mis reading .... could it be sensing 24Volt as an 8s where each cell has dropped to 3Volts so it activates the LVC?

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.

The thought had crossed my mind Pol, but surely if BB is using a watt meter it would show that??

A 4s lipo would show 16.80 v fully charged, and a 6s would be 25.20. If the reading is much under that, then there would be at least one cell down in the pack.

Please tell me you ARE using a watt meter in all these tests BB, otherwise you wont have a clue what is going wrong.

Also BB , have you a program card for the ESC s, to set them up to how you want them to run. They only cost about a fiver, and are so easy to use.

In Blackbird post 309, BB wrote - I now have to get some thunder power plugs for the amp/wat meter before i can use them, - So I'd say he is NOT using the wattmeter, Garry!
BB get those bloody plugs and use the meter before you blow something else up, mate!

Had another go with the fans but still no joy, the wat meter is still giving the same readings but when i put the lipos back on the fusion charger to discharge it the charger was saying the voltage was to high and would not do anything.
Getting realy pissed off with it now, to many problems to get any enjoyment from it.
The A 10 will have turbines, got to be easyer and nearly as cheap

Sometimes people forget to log out when leaving & because it takes the system a little while to update, you can get locked out. :( .... it'll tell you the username is still in use..... just do what Eric says and stick a number 1 after your name & it'll be fine.
One of the staff can then boot your original & you can then log back in as yourself.

Pol.

I just own the forum .... you guys make it great thanks.
