The leading edge on the second wing is now done.
once the filler is dry i can finish smoothing the wing and start on the nacelles. :cheer:

sanding the nacelles to shape.

well i have some wheels for the u/c now, so the next job is to fit the beech bearers for the retracts and look at fitting it all.
pipe work yummy, never done this before. could be interesting.

big buggers though.

Right gents i have neglected this one for soo long i need to get motivated.and get on with it.
so i plan this month to get the wings finished and ready for covering.

the rare version built by the Luftwaffe and RAF just after the war.
i give you the Lankel.

but honestly i have blended in the nacelles on the other wing today.
i hope to get the cowls fitted tomorrow and then in can sort the retracts.

number 3 cowl is now fitted and blended into the nacelle.
need to sort number 4 next after a coffee break, takes a while to cut out the openings, make up the inner framework and then trim to fit.
so if i can get number 4 done today i will be pleased.
hope to cut and fit the retract bearers tomorrow. (misses allowing)

battery trays are now in.
one in each nacelle to take a 4s lipo.


had a trial fit of the uc, so tomorrow i can make up the mounts and fit them.

need to finish the wheel wells tomorrow and then i can finish sheeting the wing.

well i got the wings finished ready for sealing and covering, almost!


needed to fit the wings to sort out the wing to fuselage fairing.

I know you dont like one liners so I dont normally comment except to say thanks but just got to say that is absolutely stunning Tony, you should be well chuffed with the results of all that hard work, amazing well done!
(ps. its now 3 lines so ner :P )
