second coat of paint done.

we are ready for fitting to the fuselage next, then we can tidy up the join and slop some paint and sealer about.

made a start on sanding the wing l/e down as well.

it is a long slow job sanding down 11ft of leading edge.
still got the other wing to do.

L/E on one wing shaped now and i have started shaping and finishing the nacelles.

Well today i sat in the new workshop and started filling in the outer nacelle to wing fillet.
a nice little planking job.
need to sand it smooth next, then that is one done. only 3 more to go. :blink:

today i have blended in the second nacelle.
we plod on slow but sure.

well Hello.
I have spent most of the day fitting the two abs engine cowls. nice fiddly job.
you have to make up an internal support frame to support :P them.

once happy with the fit ( i never am) you can cut out the air intakes, screw them on and blend them into the nacelles.

i can fit the aileron to this wing next and then move onto the other one. :silly:

Blended in the nacelles to the wing surface on the second wing today.
need to sand the whole wing down now and fit the cowls.
then i can take a look at the retracts. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

well after working on my sons car i tackled the second wing.

still sanding.
sheesh it goes on for ever all this sanding. :P
hope fully finish the sanding tomorrow, then i can look at the air retracts. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
