well started the f-86 today, started on wheel wells and gun bay and cockpit

well just a update on sabre its getting there, started the markings on it there's a lot got glass to paint.

im going to leave this post for all plastic builds not only mine so please add, and also any hints on adding detail to plastic kits is also welcome

Hello a4kskyhawk, Ive found silver a bad colour to brush , its due to the metalics laying at different angles when brushed.
Best sprayed .. a little trick i found is to mix a light grey and add a small amount of silver to get a nice scale metal look when brushing ..nice job .

thanks barry yes silver is not good for using a brush, i am at moment saving for a spray unit.

Silver is a pain to brush paint, i had hell of a job with the mustang.
but the models do look nice sky, makes me tempted to get a couple of kits i have out of the loft.
give me something to do in the evenings rather than sit on chat all night.

I hope that box-top Sukhoi pilot is not hoping to refuel from that drogue - he's approached from 90' cross on the starboard! Watch out for jet-wash!

I had to look at that for some time but it is a bit of an optical illusion.
The drogue is more or less in line with the Sukhoi.

started the cockpit painting,another coat on the wheel wells now working on the intakes.

done the undercoat by using spray, also started to put some colour on underside and the white bits.

well it i made a stuff up put the wrong thinner into my paint so have run out of blue, so i have started a ef-2000 eurofighter 1/72 scale. will be getting more paint soon so i can get the su-34 done.
