That is dated 15 years ago!

I did notice the date, but he never mentioned how long ago it was he saw the article, so no matter how old it is it is still relevant to what he may be looking for.

A bit cheerier this morning.
  THE SNOW is shrinking
It has been fun watching the kids young and older sledging on our playpark hill.

Have a nice Day, unless I don't like you.

The problem, as I see it is that as current drawn continues to diminish with the new technology there is no opportunity for a potentially dodgy contact to reconnect. With higher currents a small arc as the potentially bad contact reconnects secures the circuit. Yes these new battery packs have more secure connectors but I've seen how the pack distorts with time, all my battery packs are securely soldered, with XT or Deans connectors. Where possible I use Eneloop batteries soldered together because I know that a year or two from now they'll still be good.

They had one or more at the base in Cyprus and it was one of the noisiest aircraft iv ever head as we were right next to the airfield flying our models
And one came right over us at about the same height as the one in the film very low, the thing was we would normally get a military police car come and warn us to stop flying when they came our side but this U2 just suddenly appeared

I was intrigued by the one that came over from the States, with what looked like solar panels on the underside of the wing, inboard of the pods.
I assume they are some form of radio or radar antenna.

A bit surprised the AAIB classified the incident as "Record only" given an injury was sustained by a member of the public from what appeared to be pure pilot error.
I recall the AAIB did a full inquiry when a flying club managed to crash an RC plane on a railway line. No injury only potential inconvenience.
Hmmm.

I've got another computer, since my old one got zapped by lightning. Second hand, I was absolutely gob smacked at how prices have changed. The old one was at least 10 years old but compared to the new (secondhand) one absolutely flew. It's also running Windows 11 which I'm already hating although I can't tell you why at the moment. Next is to sort out my email handler.

The biggest problem I found with Windows 11 on my Newer Desktop is it's lack of ability to run much of the software which works perfectly well on Windows 10. An expensive problem as I have had to replace some of it. My good Canon Printer is NOT supported although it works perfectly from my Phone and older Windows 10 Laptop.

Have a nice Day, unless I don't like you.

Change for the sake of change Bob, There was nothing wrong with Windows XP (my personal favourite) Thanks for the tip about the software although my 3D printers and CNC router all run on an old Windows 7 computer in a different room. Thank goodness the WiFi routers seem to be backwardly compatible.

I've reported previously that a Win 11 update disabled my fairly new scanner/printer. Now it just sits there and ignores everything, although the pc can 'see' it.
I've tried deleting it, then running new 'drivers' but achieved absolutely nothing, apart from a waste of time.
I've tried it 'hard-wired' and via wifi. Nothing!
I've thought of reverting to W10, but there's no optical drive on this machine-, and although I can and have plugged in an external USB drive, I can't figure out how toget rid of 11, it won't let me delete it!

Luckily the s/h one I bought with W11 is SSD, My blown one was also SSD, I've swapped the drives over, and Bingo, back to W10!
But, with both SSD's in it boots to W11 and I can't get into the Bios to change it!
