As your main wing joiner is so far back, almost 50% at the root, I'd put a peg in near the leading edge as well, to reduce the possibility of wing flutter - especially as the trailing edge tube isn't really that far back from the main tube.

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

The bubbling may be due to trying to build up too quickly, the thinners vapour is getting through to attack the base foam. So maybe allow more time between coats.

Do it now, you may never get another chance

The F/G sheet came very good, just what I wanted

Got the wheel well sealed with it and painted

Drew the tail plane, thinking I might do it in sheet, considering the weight difference at he moment

That's all to report today, not been on top of my game today for some reason :(

Having been up all night until 4-30 this morning with the pain in my back I stayed in bed until 12
then I could not stand doing nothing so went to the hanger
I need a bigger shed the Buck spent the night outside along with the OD jet fuse as im trying to make room for more model storage never been a problem before as I always crashed them

glassed the top and bottom of the wing

Then built the first half of the tail feathers

Started on the opposite side

Need to go to rest

Finally got there with it, given it the final rub down, just got one coat of paint to go on then start polishing it :)

Got the other half of the tail built and the blue foam tips stuck on

So thought I would get them mounted

Then I started the fairing where they fit to the fuselage I glued it on

Then I thought mistake  it would make it very difficult to get the part parted when I do the glassing, but it would not come off, in the end I had to resort to heavy instrument

Had to clout it 2/3 times with the obvious result

all filled in now, then I started the patterns for the fence round the fuselage

I think you were onto the right idea to add the fairings onto the mould. As long as you have some decent positive draft going from the mounting face of the horizontal stab back to the fuselage I don't thing it would cause any issues getting it out of the mould. It think it would really add to the appearance of the model at the back and cause you less hassle further down the line.

Looks good.

The wing is almost ready for painting so I suppose ill have to build the other one seeing as this has worked out ok

Made the elevators and hinged them ( dry fit )

And carved the fairing where the tail fits to the fuselage
I will fix it to the tail plane, then when I have made the fuselage I will fix the tail plane to it as a permanent fit

The canopy for the Revolver is ready to make the mould tomorrow, it has had 12 coats of polish and 4 coats of release agent

Had a boring job this afternoon

Making some racking to store models they are all big and take up a lot of room

I was going to use 25mm wood dowel to sit the planes on until I saw the price £12 for two Meters
So used some plastic pipe I had kicking about, I will replace it later

I can get two more models behind the tool bench :)
Got the other tail fairing carved

And that's all I have done today
