I would agree entirely. With a head cam I found I instinctively pointed my head just a bit ahead of where the plane actually was.

Unless you have a cameraman using a zoom feature you tend to find the only good stuff comes from low fly bys and 'close by' at that! Then of course camera 'tracking' gets harder too.

Had a go pro a few years ago and that worked well on my cap, but I sold it as it was damn expensive and I wasn't making enough use of it. I was mainly flying heli's then and you had to be too close to make it worth while (too close for comfort).

This was only £60 quid, so kids can play with it, and I will stick it on my helmet when I'm kitesurfing. It also has a zoom which the go pro never had.

My issue is that most people who film my planes seem to get plenty of empty sky anyway.

Didn't get to fly my new jets, but did get out for a few hours today at my local site. Had a few flights with the heli and the jet in blue skies.



Might take a few minutes to upload, but stuck my little cam on my cap. It does has a zoom which I will try next time. Not as good as someone videoing, but better than nothing.

Well, after 15 months my trusty boomer has been sold. I hope I don't regret selling her. After fitting a new turbine at the start of the year, I plugged in the ecu last weekend on my first flight and it showed 28 cycles and I added another 4 by the end of the day. Equating to nearly 5 hours of flying since January. Never really kept a log of how many flights I had in 2104 but I've enjoyed them all.

Since joining a new club where I can fly my jet with very little restriction (apart from the length of the strip), I've taken every opportunity to fly and the local Homebase must be thinking I have a very cold green house due to the amount of paraffin I've bought this year.

An amazing plane which is going to a good home.
