Made a start on the nose today (as well as working on the kadet)
front turret base is on.
upper bomb aimer's window mount is on.
window ring is on.
That's all though folks, took ages to work out how to do it.

not 100% happy with it but i think with some sanding and shaping we can get away with it.

managed to get the nose shaped better today.

then we sanded the whole fuselage down smooth.

so i hope that tomorrow i can get the middle upper turret and cockpit sorted.

Coming on nicely Tony - my Lancaster has sort of ended up on the "back burner" list for the time being. I'm waiting on some balsa to turn up and some carbon fibre to go in the wing spars. Living on an Island has it's disadvantages when you need to get stuff - it's always wait for the bloody delivery. In the meantime I'm PLODDING (I really do plod ) along with the Lazy Bee, the Lanzo Bomber and the Hustler Delta.

mid upper turret sort of fitted.
needs a bit more shaping, but it's on.

hopefully tomorrow will see the cockpit canopy sorted and maybe some cockpit detail started.

raised area for the pilots seat.

been stuck indoors waiting for a delivery so couldn't get much done.

i have knocked this up, its not scale and some one will say the wheel is the wrong shape or the colours are wrong.

but i am not building a scale masterpiece, just one that looks ok from a mile away.

need to paint the inside yet and make the flight engineers position also the bomb aimers area.
