A couple of things come to mind Tony. Firstly, with elec you dont taxi 100 yds to the pilots box (takes too much power out of the flight time), and with those huge rudders, I am sure that a castored tail wheel would work fine, but it is up to you mate

elevators work.
will need a servo reverser as there are 2 servo's working the elevators.
i can now finish off the rear section and glue it to the tailplane.
started a wing panel as well.

Completed the first wing box today, once it has dried i can join the wings together and make the second box, then we can fit the wings to the fuselage.

I have covered the rudders and elevators over the last couple of days and today i painted the tops of the elevators.
need some matt black for the undersides and rudders.
hope to cover the whole tailplane and paint that over the weekend.
then we can cover and paint the rear half of the fuselage.

just to prove it is me doing the work and not elves
Painted the first coat of black and done the second coat of camo.
white gaps are where the markings go.
Then some plastic cutting later we have a bit more done.
one more coat of black and we can pencil in the panel lines and finally seal with 3 coats of polyc.
i can move onto the rear of the fuselage next then.

panel lines are the next job and then we can seal it all and forget it for a while.

rear gun is ready for paint.
tail plane assembly only needs one more coat of polyc on the underside and that is done.
the fuselage has been covered from the tail to the mid upper turret and has had 2 coats of poly c.
thats been it for a longish day.
