so my next job is to make up the wing mountings and main wire work.
then i can finish cutting ribs and start laying out the wings.
i think i will just draw up a simple plan for each wing, just showing spar and wing tube positions and work out the rest on the fly.

so that's the main joiner sorted.
need some 3mm and tube for the rear joiner next.
once i got these bits sorted i can make up the center section and then use it to line up the tubes when i construct the wings.
fun bit will be making up all the wire braces in the fuselage.

four 3mm ply ribs and 2 bits of 5mm offcuts of wire and some 6mm balsa later.
the wire sits on top of the spruce uprights to set the incidence.
The plan is to fill in between each pair of ribs with 6mm balsa and then once i have run the wing mount rods through, glue the whole lot in place with epoxy.
i can set the width of the cabin top then as well.
the wings will have tubes set into the first 3 ribs each side to accept the wire.
will have to make up some mounts to lock them onto the center section and then finish all the glazing wires off.
