sanded down the fairings this morning and added a second touch up coat of filler, once this has dried i can finish the shaping and take the wings off.

then i can run some strip along the wing to blend in with the fairings, it also helps with lining the wing up for fitting.

i can do the retracts and finish the wing over the weekend, i hope. :cheer:

sanded down the second coat of filler. then remover=d the wings and tidied the fairings up a bit.

Then i put the wing back on and glued two strips of 1.5mm along the wing next to the fairings.

bit of filler and then when dry i can blend them into the wing, this should help blend the fairings into the wing better and give you a locating slot for placing the wings on the fuselage.

Need to order a canopy next and we are almost ready to cover the fuselage, the wings need ailerons and retracts sorting and we can cover that.

Tony, if you'd have run :silly: a wet finger over that filler it would have saved a lot of sanding.

Tony, my son travels to London or thereabouts on a regular basis, this weekend they are in Wales but when I see him on Tues I will ask whereabout's he goes, sometimes he drives, other times he catches the train. If this is a solution and he will take them and it would be easy for you to collect them it may be an answer.Whereabouts down sarf you live I don't know. :silly:
