need to space it out from the leg by 6mm hence the block and i thought the gussets would help keep the shape when flying.

but i could be wrong as usual. :P

I only commented because it looked like your litho plate doors were slightly bulged.
As far as I can tell in full size they had the same profile as the wing under surface and were virtually flat.

i think it must be the light, as they follow the curve of the wing.

hello again peeps.

both u/c doors are done now ready for paint.

wing bolts have been finished off .

rad ducting is now fitted.

front underside wing fairing is drying ready for sanding smooth.



tomorrow i will fit the nose and cut out the battery hatch, then we are ready for sealing, covering and paint.

hello
and how are we all this evening
good i hope.
well today i have.
finished the wing off, it is now ready for covering.
cut the battery hatch out, need to make the cover next.


made up the exhausts and the nose fittings.


so tomorrow i will make up the battery tray and hatch cover, then the fuselage is ready for covering.
yay.

battery tray is in and i have started the hatch.

well i have started covering some bits.
rudder and elevators done.


ailerons will be done with solar trex as well.

then the rear of the fuselage needs doing with tex and the rest with tissue and ployc.

well i had a day out yesterday so nothing to report.
today i have given the wing and fuselage 2 coats of sanding sealer, so we are ready for covering tomorrow.

well i have covered the top of the wing and one side of the fuselage, need to wait for it to dry before i can do any more.

wing covered, needs another 2 coats of sealer yet.
fuselage has one side covered, will do the other side tomorrow.
