I have a little challenge going on with my brother-in-law who has been experimenting with cleaning up old pictures using web based AI. I wanted to match him but do it privately on my own computer without big brother looking over my shoulder. Long story cut-down.... I have been looking at various software and eventually found one that takes a text description of some action to take on a photograph e.g. remove a lanyard from a person's neck.
I have not quite sorted that yet but there is another approach that takes text directives and creates an image. So, in honour of Areomodellers as a test I put in the phrase
"A eurasian magpie sitting on a model airplane, white background, line art style" and this is what I got:
I then tried "A eurasian magpie sitting on a model spitfire airplane, white background, vector art style" and I got:
I then tried "A eurasian magpie sitting on a model spitfire airplane, white background, low polygon style" and I got quite a good image:
Whether our 'magpie' finds any of these interesting or strange or delightful or utter rubbish... it does seem possible to generate some images for aeromodeller folk based on some key words. Whether it would know all that much about different aircraft has yet to be determined. It was fun exploring. The software pushed my computer to the absolute limits, about 2 minutes per image.
So if someone wants to suggest some phrases and or a style of art I could try some more. -Jon

Hmm - a Spitfire with a radial engine and no ailerons! I wouldn't care to test-fly it!

Ok, I change magpi for Budgie and tried it with with 'lowpoly' and also two tries with 'comic book' style. I do rather like the backwards facing budgie one - it put the antenna behind the cockpit rather than in font and has fewer strange artefacts - like a rear lower gun turret in one image....
