the only obstructions are the pits and the ground, it a great site only when it rains it gets water on it
Not that it rains much here but January we get a some, we need it because from the end of Febuary we will have none until next december.
At the moment we have had rain every day at some point for the last 7/8 days so no flying.
I will have to find a site on the hills around me and fly of the slopes
Got Phoenix but its not the same, trying to join the e flying but it wont let me in.

Great full day of flying today very cold but little wind.The Fun Cub had 3 flights followed by some with the Swift ,then we set the gambler and flew that.Needs some sadjustmenys I will do at home ,and it needs bigger wheels for our strip then Ill try again.Did get one flight with it but its pulling left and we couldnt dial it out.Then flew the Fun Cub again but something happened its OK but no response,maybe the Speed controller.Flew the Swift but the wind picked up and was the wrong way.Did a lot of walking today.

took my thing out this afternoon.
only had the 2200mah battery charged, so i used that.
got 1/2 hour out of it before it went flat.

was a bit cold though, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Super flying day yet again. This weather has to break soon!!! Not a breath of wind, clear skies, and SUN. Cold, but who cares.

Yes I collided with one of them on Sunday tripped the Fun Cub up,im sure it appeared on take off

To make use of the last of the fine calm weather I flew my "DuctFan" today. It has been hanging on the wall for nearly a year.

The fan is from a PC case driven by an Emax 2812 with a 1500mAh 3S. It weighs 11oz. The fan gives nearly 10oz at full power.
It flies (and glides) really quite well but somewhere along the line it has become tail heavy as it needed full forward trim which made the first few seconds after launch.....er......interesting!

Stripped of its RC gear I think this will be consigned to my "it was an interesting idea at the time" collection.

It does have a nice look about it
