Been Flying

Thought i would give you a little tou r of my flying field todayPark your car in the car park Walk over to the club caravan Pop in and have a sit down or grab the windsock Walk behind the caravan Ans cross the rickety bridge Pop your stuff down Check the wind direction and fly

Normally I drive into the field to unload as I struggle to get all my stuff over to the pitts from the car park.Today I did it differently as there was noone around.I parked in the car park.Walked my stuff over the bridge and used an area on the opposite side near the car park and started my engine and took it to the centre of the strip from there.At the end of each flight I popped across the bridge and sat in the caravan out of the wind had a bit of food and water and refreshed had another flight.

Yes we have a ladies loo always locked but we have to pee in the wind ,

Don't do that. pee AWAY from the wind.

Yes FB I always check the windsock before position my direction

Went flying this morning no wind, sun, sand,coffee and chocolate biscuits, the field to myself again ten flights

you can go off some people you know.

Friday and Sunday look promising

Looks perfect and Im ready to go but Im waiting for someone and a delivery

gonna turn nasty at 1:35 pm.

My son awoke at 12.30 so was able to get down there then had 7 flights some brilliant the Fun Cub was good landings excellant but some of the batteries were rubbish.If the motor vibrates you cab here it and the only time It gave a hint was coming down flat out.The best batteries I found are 3s 2200 Overland the most power and duration and weight.One of the new ones from BRC lasted but had no power and a 2500 had the power but lasted for only 8 mins whereas I was getting 15 to 20 minutes out of overland.A good day but i got very cold couldnt sit down so I more or less had 1 flight after another. Didnt get anything else out.On full power on take off on the overland it climbs vertically until almost out of sight.

Yet another super flying day. I think winter can be better flying weather than summer, except for the cold.

However 10 flights. all good and no repairs. Worth waiting for.
