I think your right Tony you need a more forgiving model your trying to run before you can walk and tripping your self up.

During the week I havent beenable to fly because my right knee has been agony. The good news is by yesterday my right knee was fine. The bad news is my left knee came out in sympathy and is now agony. The good news is its only been 1 knee at a time. So, the weather looks promising but the knees look dodgy

just had an hour in the back field with the blue meanie.

had to re trim it after the last lot of repairs.
slightly nose heavy now, but we tried anyway.

log run and up it went, bit twitchy still but no tip stall on take off.
need to dial in a bit of up elevator to keep it level.

5 good flights but still poor landings.
its the wheels snagging in the rough ground causing a nose over on every landing.
i can get it down and flying level above the grass then back off the power, wheels touch and boink nose over again.

still on low rates, on high you just breath on the sticks and its all over the place.

was quite warm today, ground frozen so no mud for a change.

time to stick a motor in my cheap 2 channel glider next and take that flying.

well i got the glider sorted and took it over the back field.
first launch, climbed up nicely but kept turning left.
landed and re trimmed it.
better but still turning left, so i did 5 mins flight turning left. :P

needs to have the thrust line sorted i think.
5th flight the rudder came loose, so we aborted and went home.

so the jobs are, bigger rudder and more packing under the left side of the motor.

not bad though for a quick bodge together.

Few people started arriving total of 7 of us there.Flew the Swift but it had developed a right pull so landed and adjusted the ailerons ,by moving the servo arm and adjusting one pushrod.Took off again bit of trimming and had an excellant flight.Flew the Swift twice more landed when fingers were getting to cold.Time for the Super Scorpion ,noise tested very well took off but it needed full right rudder to keep it straight, the wing had warped.Landed and flew the Swift 3 more times.Very nice sun ,clear sky but a bitter wind,so we called it a day.
