i expect another year yet before it is finished.
anyway, finished painting today and stuck some of the markings on.
need to do the fin flashes yet and finish the rudder and fin off.
then i can get back to the wings.
got to sort the u/c and wing tubes next.
not 100% happy with thee stickers, will hand paint next time i think.
The CAA inspector looked doggedly at the model and declared it "RUFF".

hard to line up right.
don't cover the rivets very well.
cost too much.
plus was that they were quick to fit.

the nose has had 3 coats now and the fuselage 1.5.
1.5 to go on the fuselage and we can put the model away for another month before i can get back onto the wings.
still it is a long term project.
but i think another 6 months will see it finished.

decided the best way is to make 6mm ply boxes to take the units and then i can glue them in when i am happy it all works.
i have to start thinking about the wing joiners next.

battery boxes made, not decided where i am going to put them yet.
have built the flaps and got them working as well, they can now be taken off and covered and painted.
wheels have turned up so i can take a look at making the uc legs tomorrow and have a play with getting the retracts working.
