You are moving those huge aileron by those tiny horns?

Full size horns mounted to plates glued to the centre core of the aileron.
if they don't work, won't take much to chop them out and replace.

well they fit anyway.
weather they work will remain to be seen. :P

need to bite the bullet and fit the wing tubes next, or i could do the main section to fuselage mounts. :P

Fleshed out the wing tips this morning.
and then started on the jet nacelles on the underside of the centre section.
Takes ages to get anywhere with this brute.

well i have added extra bracing round the wing tongue to give the sheeting something to stick to.

I then spent the rest of the day cladding the ribs that touch when the wings are joined.
the idea is to give a solid surface to help the joint stay true.

Just planking the underside of the nacelles at the moment.

i hope to get the main wing to fuselage mounts sorted next week, then i can finish and cover the fuselage ready for 10,000000 rivets to be added.

had a stressful day fitting the nose locating tubes.
but they are done now and the nose bolts on quite well.
need to cut the slot to take the wing tongue next and then i can start the wing fairing and finish sheeting the fuselage.

By 'eck lad that's big!!

Superb! I didn't think depron would be strong enough. Great job. Can't wait to see it fly.

I'm currently unsupervised. I know it freaks me out as well, but the possibilities are endless!!

Blimey Tony, have you built hangar for it yet? a couple of Norton 500's up front maybe   Great job so far and looks pretty strong. What about weight comparison to conventional build or is it too soon to know?

Anything will fly given enough power
