The Cyprus A10 THUNDERBOLT was created by THE BLACKBIRD
My new build for the winter, might even get started before, the building that is, the planing has already started.

Spec.

Scratch built

Wingspan 2850mm. length 2600MM. weight around 35lb. for EDF.

Just like this one, discount price from Skymaster Jets £5700 that's just for the airframe

Not wishing to be the harbinger of doom and gloom, but I do hope you intend setting this model up correctly, BB, with two totally separate flight packs, as well as fail-safes.
One battery feeding one receiver feeding all the left-hand servos, and another receiver with another battery feeding all the right-hand servos.
This double redundancy giving you 50% control if, heaven forbid, one rx packs up, or a servo jams and drains the battery pack.

Keep going Eric im listening, all the info i can get is more than welcome, there is a company in the usa that do nano servo's, very small, not expencive, sort of one in each wing one main one in the fuse, they also do a modual that sounds very good.

Idiot The last post should have read nano receivers not nano servo's
i may need to learn how to do fibre glassing any experts out there

Yes, I was thinking that nano servos would be more suited to micro indoor models, but assumed you meant receivers.
Why bother with the expense of nano rx's, though. There will be plenty of room in that capacious fuz for regular ones!

I'm just looking at the position of those fans. They're well behind the COG so you'll have to get the batteries well forward. You might want to look into how you'll cope with long cable runs at a high power. ;)

Hi Phil keep talking to me, what if i run two bus wires down the fuse. like i did with my trains,i ran one very thick copper braided wire around the whole layout and it took all the negative wires, been thinking on the same lines, two main wires with each lipo pluged directly into it,maybe even copper bars with the male part of the plug soldered on :unsure:

I don't think radiated RF interference will bother you if you're using 2.4 GHz but you will need quite heavy cable to reduce power loss.
You can also fit smoothing capacitors at the end of the cables to iron out any ripple ... A couple of tiny disc ceramic capacitors will help to short out any stray RF signals.
I wouldn't suggest wire RF chokes because they'll add too much DC resistance for a high current load. ;)

With all the problems im getting with the edf im thinking of 2 Jetcat 100s for this model, i think in the end it would work out cheaper.
