Andy and I could not connect at the Nats so we were going to meet up when I went to Sandy for a 70 years old knees up on Saturday.
But I did not make that either being totally deaf I rely on bionics stuck in my ear and that developed an infection on Friday so no bionics and so no sound  been looking forward to it as he has been a best friend for most of my life
Still without any hearing as the infection is still there
My luck don't get no better

I was thinking of getting this one finished next, its been sitting around for a while now, it fact a long while now :(
I have a 1/48 plastic kit of one to show the details and the wind section, a big curve on the rear of the wing

She sits on the rack waiting

But I also need a sports jet for every day flying, so I got out the pencil and paper, ( a poor mans cad )
to design it, needs to be simple and cheep ( for a jet ) ;)

This is now my next project, so got it off the rack and took it outside and dusted it down cough cough
Took a quick look at it and decided the front hatch was no good

So glued it onto the fuse

Got me saw out and

And made a big hole

Added some strengthening

Sheeted part of the bottom

Need to look at the plastic model to see what is needed

After 6 solid hours of gardening I managed to get some modelling done this afternoon
Sheeted the other engine pod with some of the .04mm very expensive ply I have had since I started it

And sanding the front and back plugs on the other housing

Got the altered front hatch all done so progressing, and im enjoying it :)

Did a little on this, worked on the turbine housing hatch, made up a frame

Then glued ply on it

When dry

Keep the Hawk wing-loading DOWN, or it will fly like a sack of spuds! (prior knowledge!)

if you are calm and collected when all about you are going berserk - you've missed something important!

Lovely job on the A-10 Mr B. Hatch is a lovely detail.

I'm currently unsupervised. I know it freaks me out as well, but the possibilities are endless!!

Could not get the hinges I wanted to use to work on the hatch, so I tried ordinary but don't like them as you can see them, will have to put my thinking cap on, that's if I can find it

Rods across hatches into formers with brass arms to lift as they open keeping edges sharp/Wish I could draw on here to show you. Use washers as bearing surfaces Experiment with a dummy

Anything will fly given enough power
