Problem is BB we are all scared to post now in case we upset anyone,most of the time we just say thankyou its safer.Very much enjoying you work on this one and the way you made your foam cutter was a big lessomn learnt on how to do it,you made it easy to understand and a simple description of the required items helped also,thankyou.

Cant say I have noticed anyone being scared to post Stephen. I must say the thank you's do make the threads more readable to a visitor, but banter IS still allowed, unless the O/P requests otherwise.

Sorry, BB , back on topic, that is a truly awsome looking machine, and if it flys as good as it looks , the hopeful video you take will be well worth watching.

Not good if no one posts is it, i dont mind what people post as i dont know what im doing half the time, the A10 is being made up as i go along and im new to jets so any help or comment might contain some info that i can use

are you doing a mold for the canopy or just painting the foam once it is the right shape.

if you are vacuum forming your own canopy i will be watching with great interest.

Im hopeing to vacuum form my own canopy and to have it so that it opens and closes from the transmiter, but as it is all suck it and see it could end up painted foam, and that would be awfull, at the moment i have to find some sheets of acetate big enough to do it with, just had a couple of sheets from SMC but they are to small and about 1/16" thick, maybe the thickness would be ok as it must stretch and thin out over the mould.

Im sorry to admit this but in 2009 I bought a job lot of stuff with all sorts of things including some big canopies.I stored them for as long as I could couldnt find anyone interested so last year binned them,Then BB turns up with thes big models Im gutted.

Thats life, well mine anyway

Started on the engines today linning the inside, started making the patern for the ply lining then changed my mind, decided the hole through was to big

So decided to fit the engine bearers first

And make the hole the same shape as the bearers

If that makes sence
I did say i was making it up as i go

No not in front of the rear cone the dark bit but i shall have to make a tail pipe for the exhaust as the nacelle extends about 150mm behind the rear former and
100mm in front of the front former
