I have finally found some time to work on a model at last.
carved the blue foam tail cone and glued that on.

Then i sorted out how to join the flaps together.
The snake inner slides into a snake outer that is fixed in the other half of the flap.

Got the flaps and ailerons working.

I need to sort the retract mounts next week and then we are ready for covering and paint.

Not got much done today as i have been down thee hall painting again :(

revised the nacelle design slightly to get it more like the original.
fitted the elevator servos.
did some joint filling on the rest of the fuselage, so it is getting ready for covering and paint.

So tomorrow if i get time after yet more decorating down the hall, i hope to finish sheeting the fuselage and take a look at the retract mounts.

with any luck i can start covering next week. ;)

Not got much done today as usual.
filled the holes in the rear of the fuselage and filled all the joins.
looks a mess but 90% of the filler will disappear when sanded.

well the nose wheel retract unit is fitted, need to make some 65mm long oleo legs now.

this will be fun............................not.

closest i can find ready made is 75mm from Germany at £15 per leg plus postage. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

trouble is that i need double wheels on every leg, so just bent wire is not going to work.

oh poo bums. :(

well i have made and fitted the battery box in thee nose today and started the covering.

tissue and diamond hard floor varnish.
thought i best try the stuff after telling everyone that is as good as polyc.
plus i had to buy some to do the floors down the village hall. he he he

diluted it down 50/50 with water and so far it seams to be just as good.
