ended up not flying as the wind was too strong. ho hum.
i decided that the black blobs for windows did just not look right.
so rather than cut them all out, which i suspect would have weakened the fuselage structure.
I have just cut some acetate sheet to size and stuck it over the painted windows.
I then added some frames made from strips of 1mm white Depron, these will be painted red when i have finished them all.
I just don't have the skill or eye for full detail it seems, but i think that from a distance this will look fine.
well fine enough for me anyway.

I think you might have been a bit generous with the height of the windows. According to this drawing they are actually slightly wider than they are tall.
